5 Ingredient Waffles

Who doesn't love a quick and super easy breakfast. Life can get crazy. Let's keep it simple in the kitchen. Here's the skinny on these!


What you'll need:

2 cups oat flour

1/2 cup oats

1 tablespoon cinnamon

2 tablespoons grapeseed oil

1 cup flaxseed milk (almond milk, plant milk of your choice)


Make it ALKALINE

2 cups spelt flour

1 cup hemp milk

2 tablespoons grapeseed oil

1/4 cup agave


 

Directions:

1. Get out your favorite waffle maker! Pre heat the pan with a little spray oil to avoid sticking.

2. Add all dry ingredients to a mixing bowl. Stir so that it is evenly mixed.

3. Next, add the oil and milk. *Note* When adding your milk, make sure the mixture isn't TOO wet or TOO dry; you want the oats to stand out, which will give your waffles its crispy texture. If necessary, add more oats or milk to mixture. No more flour is needed.

4. Cook waffles until they are golden, brown, and crispy!

5. Add your favorite fruit to top off your waffles, or add the classic butter and maple syrup.
